FAQ

1. Can I upload your projects in streaming sites?
No. The reason being, streaming sites are having a lot of issues due to copyright material. AmeNoUta works hard to sub old dramas, and we would prefer if you support this website by downloading the torrents and seed it so others can get it as well.

2. Can I sub your projects in other languages?
You would have to first send me an e-mail and discuss about it directly with me before you or your fansub group decides to translate any of my projects.

3. Can I have any dramas requests for translations?
I do listen for people's requests, but due to my busy life (and my team's busy life too) it's difficult to take any requests unless the same drama has been requested multiple times.

4. I love your dramas and translations, what can I do to help?
There are many ways you can help AmeNoUta, which any help is greatly appreciated:

  • You can volunteer to become part of the team.
  • You can support our sponsors by visiting their websites, or you can donate to AmeNoUta.
  • You can register in AmeNoUta and be aware of any updates and changes.
  • You can comment in my posts (I really appreciate comments!!)
  • You can seed torrents as much as possible!!
5. How do I download through torrent?
Torrents are files that a downloadable through a torrent program. I recommend uTorrent, which has worked for me through many years. Otherwise you can google other torrent programs.

6. There are no seeds left for a torrent I'm trying to download!!
If there's a dead torrent, please let me know right away. Since I had to delete all the MU files, I decided to create batch torrent for most of my projects. I'm willing to seed only the batch torrents (since those are the ones I'm collecting at this point) for about 1 to 2 days if needed.

7. Do you release softsubs?
Unfortunately, I do not. My team works really hard to bring good quality of hardsubs, so I don't really think there's any need of releasing softsubs. On the other hand, I know some people already have the RAWS so it's better for them to just have softsubs rather than hardsubs. However, due to some issues I had to deal with in the past when I released softsubs, I don't think I'll release softsubs anymore.

Have any other questions? You can either comment in any of my posts or send me an e-mail to ame.x.uta@gmail.com
